Grow by Pixel is an independent web studio in Toronto. We design, build and look after websites for small businesses — and we stay with them long after launch.
Our story
Grow by Pixel started with curiosity. We wanted to know how the websites we used every day actually worked, so we took them apart and started building our own. That habit of building, testing and fixing things until they work properly is still how we approach every project.
Along the way we kept seeing the same thing. The businesses doing the best work, with loyal customers and real skill, often had websites that showed none of it. That matters, because almost everyone looks a business up online before they call or book. Our job is simple: if your business is good, your website should make that obvious.
Today we work with small businesses in Canada, the US and India — from a family piano workshop with nearly a century of history to a wedding website with live RSVPs.
Every project gets the same approach: understand the business first, build something fast and easy to use, then keep improving it after launch.
Why a small studio
Big agencies are built for big budgets. Small businesses need a studio that picks up the phone, knows the project inside out and moves quickly.
You talk to the people doing the work. No account managers, no hand-offs, nothing lost in translation.
Feedback goes straight into the build, so changes happen in days — not weeks of back-and-forth.
Monthly plans mean we keep your site updated and improving, instead of disappearing after launch.
How we work
High quality in every detail — from page speed to the last line of copy.
You always know what we’re working on, what it costs and what comes next.
The web keeps changing. We keep learning, so your site keeps up.
We deliver what we promise, and we’re honest about what’s possible.
What you get
Every site we build is set up to turn visitors into calls, bookings and reviews — and to look great on the phone in your customer’s hand.
